PLANETNOTION TELEVISION!
CAMERA-FOLK AND FILM EDITORS WANTED!
Planet Notion is looking for guys and dolls to film and edit features for its new TV channel, PNTV. Accompanying Notion to artist interviews, gigs, fashion shows, festivals and international events, you will be skilled, passionate and full of ideas about how to produce shit-hot video content. Camera-folk will be experienced and ideally have their own equipment, or at least access to equipment, while editors must be able to turn projects around quickly, and with stylistic flare. If you can both film and edit content, we would especially like to hear from you! These casual, unpaid positions would be ideal for those looking to develop their showreels, and to get the chance to travel, film major artists and top events.

Asking Planet Notion why we love Be@Proud is kind of like asking a Neanderthal what he/she loves about violent sex and raw bear-hide. Where do we start? You’ve got the beautiful burlesque women; the awesome audio visuals; oh, and don’t even get us started on the music! Which is why we’re going to be bringing you a fresh preview of Be@Proud every week, from here on in.

We kick-off this with September 6th’s schedule; and boy is it a good’n. Be@Proud will welcome global superstars of electro-pop, Mister Furio and Professor Manso, better known as the Pinker Tones. The Barcelona born duo are one of the Spaniards’ most popular imports, whose sets delve into everything from reggae infused beach beats to electro-rock and pop ditties. New album ‘Wild Animals’ has already reached number one on the iTunes Alternativo and Emusic download charts.

Tis exciting news indeed…

Joining the Pinker Tones will be multi-talented Munich band: Kamerakino. The band mashes everything from the violin and ukulele, to bass guitars, synths and drums. The music differs from song to song; one minute you’ve got a folk-ditty – perfectly fitting for the horse stables of Proud - and the next you’ve got an electro-tinged multi-instrumental dance number. The sextet’s bassist played with Franz Ferdinand and Kamerakino have recently been signed to the Scottish band’s ‘NEW’ label.

Tis double exciting news, um, indeed…

Finally, one of London’s most in demand DJ duos, Sam Willis and Sam Nolan, will be spinning their yarn on the decks. The pair, known better as Allez Allez, are no strangers to the major club-nights and venues of the capital and have fast-gained a reputation as one of the finest live acts around. Hagpop Matossian will supply impressive 3D visuals on the night…

Next week Planet Notion brings you the 13th September schedule for Be@Proud. But if you’re so desperate to see the line-up that a large wet-patch is forming round your crotch and your thighs are feeling strangely warm, CLICK HERE.
