PLANETNOTION TELEVISION!
CAMERA-FOLK AND FILM EDITORS WANTED!
Planet Notion is looking for guys and dolls to film and edit features for its new TV channel, PNTV. Accompanying Notion to artist interviews, gigs, fashion shows, festivals and international events, you will be skilled, passionate and full of ideas about how to produce shit-hot video content. Camera-folk will be experienced and ideally have their own equipment, or at least access to equipment, while editors must be able to turn projects around quickly, and with stylistic flare. If you can both film and edit content, we would especially like to hear from you! These casual, unpaid positions would be ideal for those looking to develop their showreels, and to get the chance to travel, film major artists and top events.

Young Knives and Fun Lovin' Criminals among new acts for Beachdown!
01/07/2008
The Beachdown Festival has announced a new string of top acts joining an already secure string of top acts, making for a really long string of top acts. The festival, taking place at Brighton’s Sand Downs over the August Bank Holiday of August 22nd to 25th, will bring together a whole friggin’ host of genre-bending names from the upper-echelons of the international circuit.

We’re talking the folksy strumming of Jose Gonzalez, the kings of hip-hop/rock, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, and geeky post-punk alt-rockers, The Young Knives. That’s just for starters, Bonobo, The Brakes, Peggy Sue and The Pirates, and USA favourites, The Magic Numbers, will also be making the trip to Sand Downs.

Good God, man, it doesn’t stop there! French collective, Nouvelle Vague, and NYC residents, Hercules and the Love Affair, will be joining the likes of the Maccabees, Lightspeed Champion, Reverend and the Makers, and the critically acclaimed Terry Callier. Other acts include Azymuth, Jah Wobble All-Stars, and Amp Fiddler.

Beachdown joins a long list of festivals attempting to "do their bit" for climate change; aiming to be as carbon neutral as possible and employing a number of energy saving and environmentally friendly tools. Furthermore, a weekend pass will set you back a mere £85. It's a deal, a steal, the sale of the fuc... For camping and ticket information, as well as updates to the line-up, visit www.beachdownfestival.com
